Swadeshi Gaon Wala A2 Bilona Cow Ghee
Pure. Traditional. Nutrient-Rich.
Pure. Traditional. Nutrient-Rich.
Made from A2 Desi Cow Milk
Our ghee is made exclusively from the milk of Indian desi cows, rich in the A2 beta-casein protein—easier to digest and loaded with natural goodness.
Bilona Method – The Vedic Way
Prepared using the ancient Bilona method, we first curdle the milk into dahi, hand-churn it to extract makkhan (butter), and then slowly heat it over firewood to produce golden ghee.
This ensures maximum retention of nutrients, aroma, and purity.
Why Our Ghee Stands Out:
Golden Yellow Tint – A sign of high beta-carotene from grass-fed cows
Slow-cooked for better nutrition absorption
Handmade in small batches – No mass production
Stored in food-grade glass jars – Zero plastic, zero compromise
No preservatives, additives, or chemicals
Health Benefits You’ll Feel:
Boosts digestion & gut health
Strengthens bones and immunity
Nourishes skin and hair
Enhances brain & joint function
Acts as a natural detoxifier (good for your morning routines & fasting)
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
1. What is A2 Ghee, and how is it different from regular ghee?
A2 ghee is made from the milk of Indian desi cows, which naturally produce the A2 beta-casein protein. Unlike A1 protein (found in foreign breeds), A2 is easier to digest and more suited to the Indian body and gut. Our ghee contains no mixing—only pure A2 milk.
2. What is the Bilona method?
The Bilona method is a traditional Vedic process where milk is turned into curd, then hand-churned into makkhan (butter), and finally slowly cooked into ghee. This method retains more nutrients and results in a richer, more aromatic ghee.
3. Why is your ghee golden yellow in color?
The golden yellow color comes naturally from beta-carotene, found in the milk of grass-fed desi cows. It’s a mark of quality and nutrition—not artificial color or processing.
4. Is Swadeshi Gaon Wala Ghee good for everyday use?
Yes! Our ghee is ideal for daily consumption—whether you add it to your meals, morning tea/coffee, roti, rice, or even apply it on skin and hair. It supports digestion, immunity, and overall wellness.
5. Can people with lactose intolerance consume this ghee?
Yes, most people with lactose intolerance can safely consume bilona ghee. During the slow-cooking process, almost all lactose and casein are removed, making it gut-friendly. However, we recommend consulting your doctor if you have a severe allergy.
6. How should I store this ghee?
Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. No refrigeration is required. We use glass jars to preserve purity and prevent chemical reactions.
7. What sizes are available?
We currently offer 3 sizes:
250 ml
500 ml
1 litre
All packed in premium food-grade glass jars.
8. Do you add any preservatives or flavors?
Never. Our ghee is 100% natural, with no preservatives, no chemicals, and no added color or flavors.
9. Where is this ghee made?
It is prepared in small village units in India using traditional firewood chulhas, by trained women and farmers. Every jar supports rural livelihoods and traditional knowledge.
10. How is Swadeshi Gaon Wala different from other brands?
We don’t just sell ghee. We’re building a movement to bring real food back to your kitchen.

11. Which cow breed’s milk is used in Swadeshi Gaon Wala Ghee?
We use milk from Rathi cows, an indigenous Indian breed known for producing high-quality A2 milk. Native to Rajasthan, Rathi cows are grass-fed, well-cared for, and known for their resilience and nutritional milk composition. No crossbreeds or exotic breeds are used—only pure, desi cows.
